At Barkat Hitech Engineering, we manufacture and supply precision laboratory and field-testing equipment for civil engineering material testing. We take great care to ensure that every product meets industry standards and customer specifications. This Returns & Refund Policy outlines the terms under which returns, replacements, or refunds may be considered.

1. Eligibility for Returns

Equipment is eligible for return only if:

✔ The product received is physically damaged during transit (reported correctly).
✔ The product has a manufacturing defect confirmed by our technical team.
✔ The product delivered does not match the model/specifications ordered.

❌ Returns are NOT accepted for the following reasons:

• Wrong equipment ordered by customer

• Change of mind after delivery

• Misuse, improper installation, or failure to follow instructions

• Normal wear and tear during usage

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following products cannot be returned unless defective at delivery:

• Customized or specially fabricated instruments

• Calibration-based products & measuring devices

• Electronic components, spare parts, load cells, sensors, motors, control cards

• Used or installed laboratory equipment

• Discounted, clearance, or special-order items

3. Time Limit for Reporting Issues

• Any problems must be reported within 72 hours of delivery.

• Reporting must include: photos/videos of packaging & product, invoice copy, and written complaint.

• After 72 hours, the product is considered accepted in proper condition and becomes non-returnable.

4. Inspection Process

• Once a complaint is received, our technical team will assess the issue via call, video, or site visit (if required).

• Based on the inspection, one of the following solutions will be provided:
  🔧 Repair
  🔁 Replacement of defective components
  🆕 Full product replacement (only if irreparable)

⚠️ Final decision on replacement/repair/refund is based on engineering evaluation, calibration requirements, and safety standards.

5. Refund Policy

Refunds are only applicable if:

• The ordered model is unavailable or discontinued

• The order is canceled before production/procurement begins

• The item has been confirmed as non-repairable by our technical team

📌 No refunds will be issued once equipment fabrication, assembly, calibration, or procurement of parts has begun.

6. Return Shipping & Responsibility

• For approved returns due to manufacturer defect or incorrect product, Barkat Hitech Engineering will bear return shipping costs.

• For non-eligible returns, the customer bears all shipping and handling costs.

• Products must be returned in original packaging with all accessories, manuals, and certificates.

7. Transport Damage Claims

For damage caused during transport:

• The customer must note damage on delivery receipt with the transporter.

• Photos/videos of the damaged packaging and product must be provided immediately.

• Claims not reported at delivery or within 72 hours may be rejected.

8. Warranty & Calibration

• Returns/refunds do not apply to issues caused by improper installation by unauthorized personnel.

• Warranty covers manufacturing defects only—not misuse, overloading, or mishandling.

• Calibration deviations due to usage are not eligible for refund/return.

(Warranty terms are provided separately with each product.)
