This Shipping & Delivery Policy applies to all laboratory testing equipment manufactured and supplied by Barkat Hitech Engineering. We ensure reliable packing, dispatch, and transportation of civil engineering material testing instruments across India and abroad.
1. Order Processing & Dispatch
Orders are processed only after advance or full payment, as per billing terms.
Dispatch time depends on product category:
Product Type Standard Dispatch Time Stock items (small equipment & accessories) 5–10 business days Standard lab machines 10–30 business days Customized fabrication & advanced systems 30–90 business days Final dispatch date will be shared on order confirmation, excluding transit time.
2. Transportation & Courier Partners
We use industry-recognized logistics partners for safe transport, which may include:

📦 Courier services for small devices
🛠 Heavy transport for bulky machinery
Mode of transport is selected based on product volume, weight, fragility, and destination availability.
3. Shipping Charges
Freight charges are not included in product pricing unless clearly mentioned.
Charges are calculated based on weight, volume, distance, packaging, and logistics availability.
Additional packaging (like wooden boxes or foam protection) may incur extra cost if required or requested.
📌 Any unloading charges, local transportation, or equipment handling at customer site must be paid by the buyer.
4. Packaging Standards
All equipment is carefully packed to ensure safe delivery:
✔ Bubble wrap / foam / shock-proof material
✔ Wooden crates for heavy & sensitive machines
✔ Waterproof packaging (upon request or monsoon season)
Extra packaging cost may apply depending on product specifications.
5. Delivery Time & Delays
Estimated delivery duration after dispatch:

6. Responsibility for Unloading
The buyer must arrange unloading equipment like forklifts, cranes, and manpower, depending on machine size.
Damage caused by improper unloading or mishandling at site is not covered by the manufacturer.
7. International Shipping
For export orders:
Customs duties, import taxes, cargo handling, port charges, and clearance fees are the buyer’s responsibility unless stated otherwise in the contract.
We supply required export documentation such as packing list, invoice, and certification when applicable.
8. Transit Damage & Claims
Any visible damage must be reported at the time of delivery and mentioned on the transporter’s receipt.
Provide photos/videos of damaged packaging and product within 48–72 hours.
Failure to note damage on the delivery receipt may void claim eligibility.
If approved, repair/replacement will follow our Return & Warranty policy.
